Eagles Working Hard

Last week was yet another great week for the Eads Eagles. The girls basketball team dominated the Patriots at Hi-Plains with a final score of 53-27. Unfortunately the boys basketball team had an off game and could not pull ahead of the Patriots and lost with a final score of 58-11. Both of the teams gave it their all and tried their best. Good Job Eagles. This week the Eads Eagles had two more games against Cheyenne Wells and Granada. The girls basketball team did a fantastic job and had an outstanding win over the Cheyenne Wells tigers winning with a final score of 50-19. The boys started out good but started fouling and the Tigers came out with the win. The girls had another amazing win and defeated Granada, winning with a finial score of 51-30. The boys came close again but could not quite come through and lost again. Good job to both of the Eads Eagle basketball teams. They played great and tried their hardest and are now looking forward to the game next week against Wiley.

 

Last week the Eads wrestling team also had another tournament in Strasburg. Congratulations to Taylor Weirich, Justin Lenox, and Reagan Lane for placing first in their weight classes. Good Job and Good luck in your next tournament! Keep working hard.

Back into the Season

It is now 2013, and it is the first week of the year of basketball games and wrestling tournaments for the Eads Eagles.

Last week the Eads Eagle basketball teams had two games. They had one against Cheraw in Cheraw and another game against Stratton in Eads. The girls had a great game against the Wolverines and played their hearts out defeating them with a final score of 51-16. The boys started their game against Cheraw a little bit sluggish but held it together and came out on top with a final score of 45-43. The second game the Eagles had last week was against Stratton. The girls had another great night and beat Stratton 57-24. The boys played great but lost energy towards the end and lost against Stratton 46-49. Next week the Eads Eagle basketball teams have another game against Hi-Plains in Hi-Plains. Goodluck, and bring home more victories!

Last week the Eads Eagle wrestlers had a big tournament in Lamar. They all did a very good job and did their best to come out on top but were defeated. The Eads Eagle wrestlers have a new tournament next week in Walsh. Goodluck, and keep working hard Eagles.
