Let's Go Eagles!

Last week the Eads Eagle basketball teams have played Vilas and Kit Carson. They first traveled to Vilas to play them on Thursday. The Lady Eagles rose ahead of them and had a successful defeat against the Vilas Patriots with a final score of 48-61. The boys basketball team had a less successful night against Vilas and could not pull ahead of them losing the game to the Patriots.
On Friday the Eads Eagle basketball teams stayed at home and played a big rival, Kit Carson. Unfortunately they both could not get their heads in the game and both of the Eads Eagle teams lost to Kit Carson the girls losing their place as the #1 seed going into Districts. The Eads basketball teams did a fantastic job last week and now are looking forward to enilate at their next games in McClave and Hugo.

Also, last weekend was a big weekend for the Eads wrestlers. The wrestlers left for Pueblo on Friday and came home on Saturday. All of them did an amazing job wrestling and we had an awesome outcome with our state qualifiers. Out of our 8 wrestlers we had 5 of them qualify for the state tournament next weekend up in Denver. All of the state qualifers were Justin Lenox, Taylor Weirch, Blaine Winder, Robert Miller, and Reagan Lane. Good Job wrestlers and dominate up in the state tournament!
